Thanks for checking out my website. I’ve worn many hats in this musical life, from songwriter with over forty songs commercially-released and five chart singles, to associate music director at a major ad agency, to being a well-respected forensic musicologist. This site is dedicated to my two recent creative projects, Learning History Through Music and Goodnight My Honey Bunnies, as well as other creative projects both past and future. An uplifting and educational project for grades K – 8 focusing on the Preamble to the Constitution, The Battle at Gettysburg and Civil War, and the Statue of Liberty and immigration to the United States. Designed to engage children and teach them about these important moments in our American cultural heritage that still resonate so strongly today, the collection includes teacher resources and core-aligned lesson plans, lyric sheets, sheet music, documentary DVDs, music videos, mp3s, and CDs. All are available individually, as downloads or physical products, or together in one economical and integrated book/DVD/CD package.
“We The People” sings the Preamble to the US Constitution in an uplifting, non-partisan, American Anthem suitable for 6 years old and older to sing. Each element is designed as a teaching or performing tool. All elements are downloadable or available in video, cd, and sheet music formats.
“Four Score And Seven Years Ago” sings part of the Gettysburg Address, deals with questions about equality and the importance of being involved in the political process and touches on Lincoln, the 13th amendment, and the Civil War, voting and taking responsibility for our own lives.
Just released in time for July 4th, 2019. "Happiness (The Declaration of Independence Song)," for grades K-8, sings and raps about the American Revolution - Seeking independence from Great Britain, with the famous words: "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator, with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."
“She Still Carries A Torch” is a song about the Statue of Liberty and immigration, recognizing that Lady Liberty is an important symbol of our democracy and liberty for all those who have come to this country from other lands searching for freedom.
This beautiful children’s book by Sandy Wilbur and Kimberley Ray is designed to delight and soothe babies and children ages 0 – 7, and parents, teachers, and caretakers of all ages. A free, downloadable lullaby album is included with purchase.
